Aside from the fact that you can choose (and customize!) from any of our floorplans, there are many benefits to building on a lot of your choosing:
- You can choose how big your property is. Perhaps you want lots of acreage for outdoor activities like ATV riding or hunting. Or maybe you aren’t looking for a large yard to maintain. The great part about choosing the property for your home is that you are in control of the lifestyle you want to have.
- Avoid HOA restrictions. While there are often benefits that come with paying for an HOA, there are often pesky restrictions on homeowners. When you build on your lot, you are in control of what goes on your property (subject to your local zoning and building codes, of course). Maybe one day you want to add a detached garage, or even a pole barn or an in-ground pool. The point is, you can dream and make future plans with property that isn’t controlled by an HOA.
- You can use your space however you choose. Do you have a work truck or maybe a large RV or a boat that you can’t park in a neighborhood? Do you want to have a large garden? These would be important factors to consider when building your home. When building on your lot, you can take these into account to determine where everything will be located on the land.
- You can have added privacy. You can be in an area as secluded – or populated – as you want.
