Prince Frederick, MD – October 7, 2025 – Schaefer Homes will welcome students from Calvert’s Career & Technology Academy (CTA) to its Kinsey’s Ridge community, offering them a hands-on introduction to careers in homebuilding, engineering, architecture, and similar trades. The event reflects Schaefer’s commitment to preparing the next generation of industry professionals while strengthening the communities they will one day help shape.
The event will bring together local experts from across the construction industry to speak directly with students. Attendees will include leaders from Martin Architectural, COA/Barret, Rodgers Consulting, 84 Lumber, Metcalfe, Southern Maryland Plumbing, J Calvin Wood, the Maryland Building Industry Association, and Bartley Concrete.

Attendees will gather at the community’s fully furnished model home and have the opportunity to tour homes currently under construction at Kinsey’s Ridge.
